This academic collection, titled “Féminismes Postcoloniaux”, will report the proceedings of the FEMPOCO workshops, devoted to the topic of postcolonial feminism, organized at the Université de Guyane (French Guiana) as part of MINEA research center’s activities. It will offer studies of fundamental texts, whether critical, theoretical or literary, related to the main issues of feminism and to representations of women in different parts of the world. The selected texts may comprise recent publications as well as works that have passed the test of time.
The seminar is expected to be a long-term endeavor and we intend to proceed methodically by bringing to light a main theme each year.
The aim of this collection is to address feminist thought by taking into account both its complexity and diversity.
